Our beginnings
Albania has been a producer of sulphur dioxide since 1970. A significant turning point came in 1978 when the Albanian communist government, in collaboration with the Chinese government, established the country's first heavy industry and introduced FASA shpk. The company successfully operated under the communist regime until the revolution brought about a change in the system.
Following the shift in the political landscape, numerous state enterprises, including FASA shpk, underwent privatization to enhance their efficiency. In 1992, under new management, FASA shpk emerged as a formidable entity, swiftly expanding its presence in neighboring markets such as Greece, Bulgaria, Ex-Yugoslavia, and Italy through strategic partnerships.
Recognizing the importance of growth and product quality, FASA shpk embarked on a series of investments in 2004. These investments were aimed at augmenting production capacity and further elevating the standard of their offerings
